What is "Wedding Childcare"?
Wedding childcare, commonly referred to as a "Wedding nanny" is an individual or team of individuals brought in to provide age-appropriate care for children. The goal is to keep children engaged in a fun, yet structured environment. This allows parents to enjoy the special moments with the bride and groom, free of any potential stress a child may add. From flower girls and ring bearers to children of all the wedding guests, all ages and group sizes are accommodated!
Where is care provided?
Brooke's Neverland Imaginarium is based out of East Wichita. Wedding childcare can be accommodated to Wichita and all surrounding towns. Care will be provided in whichever setting works for your special day. Whether it's on the dancefloor at the reception, a designated kids zone at the venue, or a hotel room for younger children needing a time of rest, we will do what works best!
How many care providers do I need for my wedding?
The number of nannies depends on the number and ages of children attending. As a general guideline, I recommend:
1 nanny for every 2 children, ages 2 years and younger
1 nanny for 10 children, ages 3 and up
What is the cost for an extra care provider?
The rate for each additional nanny is $65 an hour. I will work with you to determine if extra care is needed.
Do you provide transportation to the wedding venue?
I will drive myself and my supplies to all of the wedding day locations. A complimentary distance of 30 miles from my base location is included in each package. If your venue is farther, a small mileage fee will apply. This will be discussed upfront when you book your package. However, I WILL NOT transport children, it is the parent's responsibility to drive them to and from the ceremony or reception.
Are the care providers qualified and trustworthy?
Yes, all care providers on your special day are CPR certified, background checked, and finger printed by the KDHE. All have experience working with a wide range of ages in a variety of settings.
